Lake Tahoe Vacation  Rental!

It is conveniently located close to the lake,  Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort as well as the famous casinos of Lake Tahoe (about one mile from each)!

Lake Tahoe is known for it's dual ability to be both a popular winter and summer resort.  In the winter, there are 17 nearby ski resorts to choose from, along with any other imaginable winter sport (cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, tubing, sleigh-rides, to name a few).

 In the summer time, the beaches surrounding the lake are very popular attractions, as are the scenic hiking trails, biking trails, horseback riding trails, campgrounds, golfing, boating, fishing, parasailing, jet skiing, ballooning...to name a few.

The home itself is a large 4-story Tudor home that consists of 5400 s.q. of living space with views of the lake from the upper two floors.  The house can sleep up to 27 people (if it came to that!) but is only permitted a maximum occupancy of 18 (by Douglas County).  There are 6 bedrooms with 10 mattresses between them.  In addition, there are 4 sofa sleepers throughout the house.  A house this large must also have plenty of bathrooms...and we do... a total of FIVE (3 shower baths and 2 full baths), all equipped with wall-mounted hair dryers.  Each of the bedrooms is also conveniently equipped with phones, TV/VCRs, ceiling fans and clothes hampers (it's the details that really count)!

Two  living rooms (on different floors) allow for separate agendas to take place.  Each has a big-screen TV, DVD Player, VCR, stereo and gas fireplace to cozy up to.  And so does the Master Bedroom suite (we'll get to that later).

Our large gourmet kitchen is equipped with a double oven, dishwasher, two sinks, 4-burner stovetop and Jenn-air grill.  It is adjacent to the dining room with a table that can seat up to 14 people at a time.  This room has awesome views of the lake during mealtimes! 

The Master Bedroom Suite consists of the entire top floor of the home, complete with a spacious walk-in closet and huge master bath (with a Jacuzzi tub and a shower stall boasting two shower heads)!  The bedroom itself includes a California king-size bed (situated directly under a sky-light for late night star-watching), as well as two sofa sleepers.  And no Master Bedroom suite is complete without it's very own gas fireplace!

 Our laundry room area is spacious as well and includes a full size washer and dryer, sink & folding counter,  clothes sorter, ironing boards and irons.

Other amenities include a 6-person hot tub located on our back deck; a marble Jacuzzi bathroom equipped with a cedar sauna and steam shower; a regulation size billiards table; foosball table; full size wet bar equipped with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker & sink; a playing card table (seats up to 6 players) with every board/card game imaginable; BBQ grill; telescope; binoculars.

The home is very "baby-friendly".  Safety gates are available for quick installation at top of staircases (there are two separate staircases).  We also have a high-chair, booster chair, port-a-crib and baby bouncer for your convenience.  Additional baby items may be rented from Lake Tahoe's own Away Wee Go Rentals.

Parking accommodations have recently been restricted (again by Douglas County) to a maximum of 4 vehicles between the 2-car garage and driveway.  All street parking is a tow-zone and also subject to fines.

This is a fully furnished and equipped property down to the blankets and spoons!  Linens & towels are provided as well as starter soaps, detergents & toilet paper.  Just bring your clothes, gear & groceries!
